Is Wolverine Appearing In Deadpool 3 A Variation Of Logan 2017?
According to confirmation, the Wolverine appearing in the blockbuster Deadpool 3 will come from a different future, not the Logan that fans still know.
After the second trailer of Deadpool & Wolverine aired, the community is talking excitedly about the upcoming blockbuster. This work is considered a hope to revive the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the gathering of many familiar faces. Most special is the presence of actor Hugh Jackman as Wolverine accompanying the "funny narrator" Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds).
It must be said that there is nothing better than when the audience gets to witness Fox's legendary Wolverine accompanying the talkative guy in an MCU production. However, that joy was not complete when it was recently confirmed that the Wolverine appearing in the movie is not the character who appeared in the previous films.
Or to be more precise, the Logan we saw in the recent trailer is a "variant" different from Fox's Logan. In the movie released by Fox in 2017, Logan breathed his last breath so that the next generation of X-Men could have a chance to survive, and this character was not revived, instead we will have a variant. Wolverine is younger (but also more tragic).
Ryan Reynolds also affirmed: "Our Logan is not the same person in the movie Logan. The ending is so beautiful that we don't want to change it."
Wolverine's sacrifice in Logan (2017) can be considered a canon event, so the talkative guy wearing a tight suit was forced to find another variation to replace it. The Wolverine that Deadpool meets is said to be in another timeline after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand.
As a reminder for those who have forgotten (or haven't seen it yet), X-Men: The Last Stand delves deeply into the discord between humans and X-Men. However, Professor X and the X-Men are still determined to protect humanity, while Maneto and Jean Gray (now controlled by Phoenix's power) want to destroy humanity. Both groups of mutants fought on a government island to defend their respective positions.
Wolverine's reality in Deadpool 3 was destroyed because Logan couldn't kill Jean, and since then he had to live in regret and loneliness (until the loudmouth came).
